Dappleflower sat in her den sighing. Some leaves were frozen because of the weather lately.. I have to leave camp soon again then.. she thought. The day before she already left to get herbs and now she had to leave...again. Dappleflower prodded the frosty leaves wondering what she should do in the mean time.. also trying to think of how to save the herbs she tried hard to collect.

"Hello, Dappleflower." Mistrose greeted the medicine cat. "Has the Leaf bare been hard on the herbs?" she asked.

The she cat's eyes opened to a quiet camp. The weather had been cold and dreary, but it would not dampen the leader's pleasent mood. She yawned and stretched, before padding out into the camp. Occasionally cats passed and dipped their heads to her, but other than that, most of the cats were either hunting or sleeping soundly.
The she cat ear's pricked at the sound of voices she knew well. Her deputy, Mistrose, and her medicine cat, Dappleflower.
She shrugged mentally and padded over to the fresh kill pile. It didn't look good. Perhaps I'll lead a patrol later.. She thought before picking up two mice.
Whens she arrived at the medicine cat den she put the two mice at the feet of her two most trusted clanmates. "Mistrose, Dappleflower. She said politely.

Mistrose dipped her head in respect to her leader."Thank you."Mistrose devoured her mouse quickly then straightned up to face her leader. " Is there anything that needs to be done?" she asked, always eager to finish whatever work needed to be done. 'but then....' she thought, gaze turning back to Dappleflower. 'what about the herbs....'

Dappleflower shook her head, No it is fine, I can find morel later. she eyed the mouse and picked it up dropping it near her bed, I can eat it later.. Dappleflower turned to the leader, Is there anything you need? silently she hoped it wasn't for herbs..
